Win Intercontintntal Dubai Prizes - ends 8/09

From Thursday 7th May, InterContinental Dubai Festival City will begin a summer of amazing prize giveaways, launching the first treasure hunt in Dubai to be directed by Twitter alerts.

Every second Thursday until the 13th August 2009, the hotel will place a series of ‘Keast Tweets’ on its Twitter profile informing the followers of the location and time where they can collect their stunning gift from InterContinental’s Chief Concierge, Adam Keast. The locations will change, however they will always be near an accessible Dubai landmark. Followers will have to stay poised for the ‘Keast Tweet’ alerts, which will be posted once a fortnight for 16 weeks, to learn where and when the fastest person may claim each of the prizes.

Prizes are promised to be extremely attractive, ranging from a stay in the Presidential Suite complete with dinner at the fine dining, award winning restaurant ‘Reflets par Pierre Gagnaire’, to spa treatments and helicopter tour packages. The contents of each prize will be announced to all Twitter followers of the hotel, before the ‘Keast Tweet’ clue as to the whereabouts is revealed.
This will be one of the largest ever giveaways over Twitter, the modern and highly publicised social network medium, but one which the hotel are confident will become extremely popular in Dubai. Since the start of 2009, InterContinental along with its sister hotel Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City have taken advantage of social network media such as Twitter and Facebook as a method of communicating directly with current and potential customers, and offering exclusive online deals. Recently, the hotels also gave away free room nights to whomever of their Twitter followers were the first to reply at a certain time.

The ‘Keast Tweets’ giveaways will soon be the talk of the town, so stay alert for the next one by following InterContinental Dubai Festival City on their Twitter profile at

The hotel wish good luck to all their followers, and advise them to keep their running shoes handy!
