The Wii Fit Mommiis are hosting their very first Fitness Friday! To kick off the launch of the site and in anticipation of the January 1st “New Year, New You” Challenge, the Wii Fit Mommiis are going to be hosting a Twitter party* on Wednesday, December 10th at 8 pm Eastern (5 Pacific/6 Mountain) that will last 2 hours.
There’s going to be loads of giveaways including a GRAND PRIZE of both a Wii and a Wii Fit donated by the generous folks at Nintendo and other great prizes as well.
Here are the details that I found on their site:
TO QUALIFY FOR THE GRAND PRIZE GIVEAWAY OF A WII AND A WII FIT YOU MUST DO THESE THREE THINGS-
- Head on over to the Wii Fit Mommiis forum and register
- Head on over to the forum and answer this question- ‘How will the Wii Fit move you?’ (Link To question is in the Top of the Forum)
- Return here to leave a comment telling us that you’ve done that.
To Earn Additional Entries:
- RSVP for the party using Mr. Linky right here below this post and leave a comment. Try to follow the other party goers on the list!
- Tweet about the party and leave a comment here.
- Submit a blog post about the party and leave the link here in a comment.
- Subscribe to our RSS feed and leave a comment here letting us know.
- Stumble, Digg or Technorati this post or site and leave comments each time you do.
The Night of the Party:
- Begin or join in the discussion. When you tweet you need to put #wiifitenthused in every tweet.
- If you use Tweetdeck. Put #wiifitenthused in the search tool. It will open a new window pane and give you all the conversations with #wiifitenthused in it. During a party I usually close my Replies pane so that I am just following the party.
- If you use twitter alone you can go to Summize.com and put #wiifitenthusedin the search. You will be prompted to refresh it often
- Every 15 minutes a new giveaway winner will be announced. If you win something, please contact the correct Mommii AFTER the party.
That is it, party ends at 10 Eastern Standard time (that’s 7 pacific and 6 mountain)! Remember, the more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win! As with all the prizes, the winner will be drawn Wednesday, December 10, 2008 using the random intiger generator at Random.org. We will input the number of comments on each giveaway and draw one number from the list. That comment number will be the winner. For example, if there are 100 comments, Random.org will choose one number from 1 to 100 and if it’s #53, the 53rd comment wins.
